Enter Key does not work in Word 2016 - Microsoft Community

i have user issue. has latest version of o365/2016. shift-enter works enter not on password restricted template. works fine on machine , users. have deleted normal file well, no luck.

to move forward, i’d confirm , provide following.

1. how set password on template? follow steps in article?

2. “it works fine on machine , users. “, use same template user?

3. if user create new file, what’s outcome? please confirm whether issue happens in specific file on user’s computer.

4. mean “i have deleted normal file well, no luck.”? do troubleshoot issue?

5. upload full screenshot of page showing version information of word 2016 using. can access page via file>account.

 

given situation, suggest navigate control panel>programs>programs , features>right-click office 2016 tab>change>repair see result.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
