so having issue outlook 2016 if click on persons name lock if click on carrot fine. have imaged entire computer, did updates, uninstalled  32 bit , installed 64. no luck. fails in safe mode. deleted folder , sub-folders. since vc of university needs fixed. tried loading on computer created new profile. still locks up. please help. have dhad no answer in technet forums figure try here.

the program outlook.exe version 16.0.4600.1000 stopped interacting windows , closed. see if more information problem available, check problem history in security , maintenance control panel.

outlook app may stop responding few reasons. isolate issue, we'll need ask following:

  • does entire outlook app freeze or stop responding after clicking on specific item?
  • can clarify item or activity triggers issue?
  • when error occur? upon clicking on item?
  • did same exact error appear when tried on different computer?
  • are computers connected domain?

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
