Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community.

new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884

sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made.

connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window.

  • so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook
  • tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks
  • tried opening outlook on our connected network
  • open outlook , manually enter exchange server address 1 want , make sure settings correct. locate account setup file here: ~/library/group containers/xxxx.office/outlook/outlook 15 profiles/main profile/data/exchange accounts/xx/ (the file not have extension) exchange account setup in 1 of these files, depending on how many exchange accounts have setup. can check correct account opening them using textedit, don't edit them there. lock file through info quit , restart outlook , exchange server address should locked entered. (this seems may have worked, no further sync status issues have popped , messages sending through, report if not work)

has else had these issues outlook 2016?
