Outlook categories question - Microsoft Community

on outlook, when categorise email sender (for example, give blue category), each time receive subsequent email sender automatically still categorized blue. want categorise individual emails senders, not subsequent emails. possible? there setting need switch off?

i want switch off function automatically categorises each new email received sender (once have categorized 1 email them), can categorise individual emails once receive them – possible? checked in rules , alerts cannot find setting.

based on test, when categorizing email in inbox or message list by right-clicking message, point categorize, , click color category, setting take effect on specific emails.

and please make sure don’t have inbox rules such assign message specific people specific category.
