after update win 10 creator.

mail merge contacts in outlook loads tremendously slow.   minutes.  contact numbers 300?

anyone else having , can fix this?

first, please check if follow steps in article use mail merge: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/use-mail-merge-to-send-bulk-email-messages-0f123521-20ce-4aa8-8b62-ac211dedefa4. saying “minutes.  contact numbers 300”, mean use mail merge feature send emails 300 recipients , send email using few minutes? email message stuck in outlook client's outbox?

since problem email delivery feature, check network environment make sure network working properly. also, try sending test email outlook client check if email delivery feature in outlook client affected.

in addition, i’d know detailed version of outlook client can try reproduce issue on our side , give suggestions. open outlook client, navigate file > office account check. looks version 1705 (build 8201.2102).

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
