I am not recieving emails from some domains - Microsoft Community


i using mail.live.com @outlook.com email address. recently, several of contacts have complained emails send me being returned unsent. have checked , not have rules setup , not in blocked sender list. can try adding specific address safe senders list, not wondering how many other emails missing other clients.

is ms filtering/blocking emails before revieve them?

it possible that the filter settings of account affecting delivery of incoming messages mailbox. can check out following steps on how configure settings of account. 

check blocked sender list

1. in outlook.com inbox, click cog icon @ upper right part of screen , select more email settings.

2. under preventing junk email, click safe , blocked senders.

3. click blocked senders.

4. in blocked senders list, select name or domain (the part of e-mail address follows @ sign) that want receive mail from, , click<< remove list.

1. outlook.com options screens under preventing junk email, click safe , blocked senders.

2. click safe senders.

3. in text box, type in email address or domain you’d receive email from, , click add list >>.

check email rules

1. outlook.com options screens under customizing outlook, click rules sorting new messages.

2. perform 1 of actions per requirement:

click edit next rule want edit.

or

choose rule want delete , click delete.

note: not international characters supported filters.

check junk mail settings

1. outlook.com options screens under preventing junk email, click filters , reporting.

2. under choose junk e-mail filter, choose level of protection want, , click save. if exclusive level set, messages senders not on contacts or safe senders lists have been sent junk e-mail folder.

check reply-to address

1. outlook.com options screens under writing email, click reply-to address.

2. select current e-mail address radio button.

3. click save.

check mail forwarding

1. outlook.com options screens under managing account, click email forwarding.

2. select don't forward radio button.

3. click save.
