Microsoft Office Accounting 2009: can't restore after Windows - Microsoft Community

i had windows 7 running outlook 2007 business contact manager , microsoft office accounting 2009 (uk) , continued work after free upgrade windows 10. recent creators update caused bcm crash , tried roll restore point before update. wouldn't, left me black screen cursor on attempting log in. reinstall of windows 7 , upgrade windows 10, reinstall bcm original office 2007 suite ( works!) , reinstall moa 2009 .exe file saved 8 years ago. problem; though have latest backup file, can't restore data moa 2009. error message " network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing connection sql server. server wasn't found or not accessible. verify instance name correct , sql server configured allow remote connections". moa installed sql server 2005; problem? 

i novice, not tecchie, working on standalone pc run business home. thought servers corporate businesses , sql priced accordingly. need way retrieve financial data backup files (.sbb) send accountant, if can't still run moa 2009 ( switched cloud-based accounting service month ago).

any ideas?

to reinstall moa requires update latest moa service pack, before can reconnect sbb backups

i'm unsure whether https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=8061

moa discontinued in 2009, i'm not aware of other program can read/extract sbb data files (i used moa @ 1 time)

the cloud based bookkeeping software found ok wave, good/recommended pc based system http://www.vtsoftware.co.uk/

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
