Very long server update time for Rules Manager - Microsoft Community

hi,


i notice issue after re-installation of outlook on new pc. takes 30 minutes rules manager update server if change made in manager! before on previous machine no waiting time @ all...


i notice accounts have been merged (gmail , ms live account), is, can no longer select account inside rules manager.


the main change i've made in outlook selected ms account default account.


but why accounts no longer kept separate in rules manager , why takes strangely long time update changes in rules manager not understand.


do have explanation/theory/solution perhaps?

  • which email protocol using?
  • have tried creating new profile user, try set again , check if issue still persists?

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
