Dissappearing emails in Outlook for android - Microsoft Community

when replying email on samsung tab using outlook, error message follows:

"an error occurred

your message failed send.  1 or more attachments no longer exists on mail server.  message has been returned drafts folder."

then presents following options:  open draft, contact support, , ok.

hitting open draft takes me empty draft folder.  if hit ok try go draft folder, there not draft there either.  have not tried hitting contact support yet because thought surely loose had typed.  has occurred multiple times , frustrating.  please help!

for provide right information address concern properly, kindly provide following:

  • was there update prior issue?
  • have checked if happens on other devices outlook app?
  • does happen when sending email messages through outlook.com?

in meantime, suggest uninstall app, , reinstall through store app , see if same error occur.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
