microsoft word won't open - Microsoft Community

when trying open word, permission box (asking if allow program make changes--i alway when running "administrator")  today in box ask asked microsoft office client visualzation handler.  press yes whole thing stops , word, else doesn't open.  help

if have installed office application using click-to-run technology, , launch office app has been installed in different way, encountering issue. assist you, kindly provide information need below:

  • which version of office using?
  • when did issue start?
  • how did install copy of office?
  • are using other versions of office? if yes, have installed them in different manner?
  • kindly attach screenshot of issue further.
  • are receiving error messages? if yes, tell exact error message.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
