Word Program & documents opening slow and behaving strangely - Microsoft Community

i using hp pavilion desktop.

since november 1st, have been experiences 3 problems word:

1) when opening word doc, taking long time word program load/launch.

2) once program open, takes long time document appear.

3) when attempting open additional word docs, each time , every document, word program re-launches...taking long time load/launch prior opening each additional document.

prior this, regardless of folder, once word program "open", had "click" on other word documents, pop view.  

on possibly related matter, during same time period, find yahoo mail acting slow.  typing not keep according keystroke, taking long time open emails inbox , sent.  difficult open new window in compose, takes long time.

i've run webroot , malwarebytes.  no apparent viruses.

i operating microsoft edge browser, had been fine until 2 weeks ago.  

i've tried switching google chrome , firefox.  no change.

i've cleaned registry.  no change.

i've checked suspect apps possible culprits.  cannot identify.

i've rebooted multiple times.  no change.

can assist me, please?

try repairing office installation. first try quick repair, if doesn't try online repair
