Speakersettings lost after reconnecting - Microsoft Community

i have jabra headset connected macbook. jabra link 370 connect via usb hub mac. if disconnect macbook usb-hub skype business switches audio playback device build in speakers. clear me. if come work next day or after meeting skype doesn’t change playback device jabra 370 , have change during next meeting.

by default, mac os x play through default speakers after usb headset connected. corrected making usb headset default audio device. detailed steps are:

1. in top left corner of screen, click on apple logo. select “system preferences”.
2. in new menu, select “sound”.
3. go both “output” , “input”, , select headset in both menus. if change not take place automatically, close menu (by pressing red button in top left corner of window), , reconnect headset.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
