I can't set up my Microsoft Exchange account on Outlook 2016! - Microsoft Community


this day 2 of trying set email, after number of phone calls have resulted in problem not being fixed.

microsoft current host email through microsoft exchange. (i have microsoft exchange account)

however, have used personal domain (*****) email address. 

my domain provider not host email (microsoft does) cannot me. 

and microsoft believe's can't me.

i'm going lose cool soon, extremely frustrating. can access email outlook.com why can't access via outlook 2016?!

help please :(

it seems email address custom domain smtp address. may need change default smtp address. smtp address can used sender email address, smtp address can receive emails while cannot send emails.

to change it, use account log exchange admin center> navigate recipients> mailboxes> double click name> email address> select ***@***.co.na"> edit> make reply address.

then, clear cache related original account , retry again: close microsoft outlook> start menu, select control panel> click user accounts> click credential manager> in windows credentials , generic credentials section, remove stored credentials referencing office 365 or ms.outlook email addresses> click  (details)> click remove vault> click yes on warning box> repeat these steps until remove of credentials associated email address> close control panel window> launch outlook.
