SharePoint Forms Library - Microsoft Community

hello,

i have 60 templates team needs use. kept in library on sharepoint not allowed edited (no other documents added here) 5 other divisions grab templates , create documents kept in own team site libraries. 

adding them 60 individual form items not option (where have them in drop down when go file>new.

i need them kept in library area list of documents in .dotx format when people working on documents, need still linked location retain formatting.

the issue experiencing if document has multiple authors , emailed each author add information, formatting becomes corrupt - numbered subtitles change format , lose numbers.

i'm guessing because link template becomes lost once opened sharepoint? (if have on common drive, not issue can use 'add-in' template if lose formatting).

i've started reading on sharepoint forms libraries creating info path documents complex , don't think solution.

we want able create documents our 60 .dotx templates , save them .docx in different sharepoint sites without losing formatting we're creating them.

sorry delay!!

and thankyou response. seems bit arduous have that. when updates original word form, they'd have go content area , amend , re-attach it.

after discussing further team, just want work word templates usual library of documents. means they'll have put issues of documents not functioning normal template.
