Outlook.com notifications on home Windows 10 machine - Microsoft Community

i have question regarding outlook.com notifications appearing on home pc. have bought item not want significant other find out in advance. nothing sinister here, don't want surprise ruined.

we use laptop @ home pretty in standby, linked microsoft account because hey, have nothing hide... until now! question is, email notifications have received morning there greet when gets home work (which before me incidentally)? it might worth mentioning mails have been moved , not sat in inbox.

any on appreciated. , kind! ;)

, using outlook mail in windows 10 mail client? if are, can turn off notifications it. open start > settings > system > notifications & actions > scroll down, toggle off mail.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
