Shared Mailbox Contacts - Microsoft Community

my company using e3 license.  we going use shared mailbox contacts.  i have heard shared mailbox has licensed if comes contacts.  is true?

may know whether want use shared mailbox share contacts members? if so, don’t need assign license shared mailbox. meantime, can use public folder workaround sharing contacts. here reference:
