KB4043961 on Surface Pro 4 gives Outlook 2016 Search error - Microsoft Community

after recent kb4043961 update on our ms surface pro 4, experiencing problem when searching in ms outlook 2016 error "something went wrong , search couldn't completed" far happening of 5 of our devices has update. correct problem appreciated. have tried creating new outlook profiles , turning off indexing outlook , turning on again. still no success.

there possibility search function turned off, outlook data files not indexed or have corrupted outlook data files. suggest check link, refer article under issue #5 , follow workaround might resolve searching issue using outlook 2016.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
