Can't hear other people using skype for business - Microsoft Community


i've worked through number of other articles no success. here's issue:

i can't hear other people when using skype business on desktop. other people hear me fine.

i'm using office 2016/365 install, i'm pretty sure updated. desktop running windows 10, i'm using razer kraken usb headset.

my laptop works fine using same usb headset , windows 10.

i've checked audio device setup on desktop, set use headset in settings dialogs. can hear test sounds in settings dialog, can't hear when in meeting or on call.

any further guidance appreciated.

edit: other voip/calling products work fine, "regular" skype, discord, in-app voicecomms (games , such). seem having issue skype business.

based on description, issue should related pc. please try following , check outcome:

1. reinstall skype business.

2. perform clean boot in windows.

3. use system file checker tool scan corruptions in windows systems files , restore corrupted files. 

meanwhile, please provide current skype business version , have tried fix issue.
