Is syncing required to access OneDrive files? - Microsoft Community


i have found vague statements this, still isn't clear other posts.  this in relation windows 7, apply 10 10 pc has them sync'd, turn off.  why use local storage if don't have to?  that is, me, biggest reason use cloud start with.

what want not sync 1 drive files pc.  i want in cloud.  i want able access them if on pc, in other words through windows explorer.  so far no luck in doing this.  it seems want me sync them before can see them in way.

if there link perfect thread answer appreciate link :).

hi eric,

syncing files has been made easy use of onedrive application. query accessing onedrive files, suggest refer mohammed yaseer's reply similar post found on link: onedrive files online only. in order keep files in cloud storage, need deselect these folders in the choose folders menu after has finished uploading.

do not hesitate reply if need additional assistance.
