Skype for business - can't log in - Microsoft Community


i'm trying use sfb account used in december/january of 2016/2017.

we need use again, fired up. however, whenever attempt sign in, message:

"can't sign in skype business

the username, domain or password appears incorrect. ensure entered them correctly"

i ran through password recovery options, , changed password. (e.g. password change procedure completed without problem).

however, 'new' password doesn't work; same message above.

i've been through password recovery option twice now, being careful when entering new password, , noting down.

it's though account signed in somewhere else. (this produce same error message). however, can't see how possible.

how can account ?

we in peer networking environment, no domain controller.

we have skype business 2016 installed on 2 workstations, , have paid 2 'licenses' on plan2. (well, accounts really).

we not have office365.

the problem resolved logging office365 customer portal (using "faulty" skype address), following password reset routine there, rather in client software itself.

although screens looked identical password recovery screens accessed through client software, outcome different !

to re-iterate, account working.
