How do I remove old Skype contacts from the People section of a - Microsoft Community

how remove old skype contacts people section of microsoft account when no-longer skype contacts in skype?

why these contacts appear under used ‘favourite’ contact category (star icon) when, above, no longer in microsoft account ‘people’ address book, either in windows phone, outlook.com or pc desktop? far can see 'favourite' contacts category feature has been removed in past release of people'. there no way remove group/category via outlook.com or desktop.

are either obsolete, not account recent changes in outlook.com functionality, or inaccurate on procedural content. however, avoidance of doubt, solution suggests unlinking of skype , microsoft account delete contacts not possible.

it possible there might correction needs done either on account or server. since you've performed troubleshooting steps advised jaune bel's previous posts on thread, aside steps both have performed, stated best raise you're experiencing through our uservoice website outlook.

this in event if other users experiencing same issue, able either vote post or can vote post has similar description issue. being said, once feedback raised through uservoice, our outlook engineers either reply on post or looking further issue , see fixes can applied , other users same experience , running again.
