Outlook repeatedly requests password after mac wakes from sleep mode - Microsoft Community


i have been having problem since installed mac 2011 office many years ago. i've put i'm going crazy.

after mac goes sleep mode when wakes , go outlook displays pop-ups requesting passwords each email account have setup. have 5 accounts setup. can hit cancel each account , guess picks password key chain. else have annoying problem? run updates office should have latest , greatest version. keep mac up-to-date fixes although still running sierra os x 10.12.5.

thanks information. issue, please try remove keychain entries , have outlook in recreating them:

  1. open keychain access utility (in applications > utilities folder)
  2. opt “login” keychain
  3. look out mail service (ie, server name) of account have configured in outlook.
  4. choose displayed keychain entry, , push delete key remove it.

meanwhile, office 2007 , office mac 2011 no longer supported after october 10, 2017. recommand can upgrade office 2011 latest version, can see how upgrade office 2016 via article.
