I was hacked - lost the "My Documents" Folder - how do I - Microsoft Community

yesterday, december 22nd, hacked hackers claiming microsoft.  had call them "control" of computer again.  trying me pay "paid subscription tech support."  ranged $99.00 - $249.00.  went through thing of saying drivers stopped, wouldn't able access computer, if bought new 1 same problem (they hack me again.)  person kept typing things , erase them!  told them "get off computer!"  knew weren't microsoft because husbands computer hacked earlier year.  told them wasn't paying anything.  well, backed out of screens, , disappeared.  ran virus scans, , sure enough, major threat!

when checking things see if well, found "my documents" folder gone, documents kept.  had been backed not while.

i have tried can find "my documents" folder.  there "my online documents" folder, don't keep them online.  on hard drive.

can me find documents??  there need do?

moved from: (word / windows other / unknown/other)

the documents folder, if still exists in default location folder. 

c:\users\[your user name]\documents

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
