as if starting morning today missing emails in outlook 2016 wasn't enough. now, went add new contact , contacts gone.

after reading thousands of comments others experience same issue, suggested fix email issue morning delete email account , add again. did bring in many of old emails (not all) , did not load recent emails. lost of inbox organizational subfolders. 

not have lost hours of productivity today, feel compelled pay professional step in see if can resolve. business owner, find these type of programming issues unacceptable. 

outlook used solid software. not purchasing further upgrades , will, unfortunately, resort tracking emails online.

for isolate main issue, know if have tried checking account using web browser. also, using business account or personal account? know next course of action need take.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
