Video Files Uploaded To One Drive No Longer Play In Browser - Microsoft Community

i have uploaded number of mp4 videos 1 drive account on past month, have thumbnails displayed , can clicked on , played in browser.

today have uploaded videos , no longer play, show generic video icons , when click on them starts download device.

i tested new videos , exsisting videos have uploaded before without problems, now video wasn't on 1 drive no longer play in browser.

is 1 drive having technical issues browser playback? have changed because videos encoded in same format no longer play. frustrating worked fine before.

if video files uploaded onedrive account aren’t playing in browser, it’s possible files incompatible browser being used or videos corrupted. isolate concern, please answer following questions:

  • were there changes made on onedrive account prior issue?
  • have encountered error message when tried playing video files? if yes, kindly provide screenshot.
  • does issue occur specific browser only? if yes, please try using other web browsers available on computer.

as initial troubleshooting step, try clearing browsing history, cache , cookies of browser you’re using. follow steps in article delete browser history in microsoft edge. internet explorer, find version have , use instructions on link.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
