Outlook 2011 Sync Issues - Microsoft Community

i run same imap email account on 3 computers: 1 pc running outlook 2010, 1 macbook pro running outlook 2011 , 1 imac running outlook 2011.

i'm having issues emails syncing on 3 computers , server.  for example:

i sent email on macbook pro (outlook 2011) , moved email sent folder folder.  

  • on macbook pro, email located in new folder
  • on pc, imac , server email found.

i've tried syncing folder , says folder date.  i've tried moving email inbox , dedicated folder force sync server, , other computers, , not work either.

any ideas?

to identify if issue related server side, please check following:

1. outlook has installed latest update on 3 computers.

2. after moving email, please search server side , let me know result.

3. please rebuild outlook mac 2011 database via article - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2360509

and recreate new profile in outlook 2010 via https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-an-outlook-profile-f544c1ba-3352-4b3b-be0b-8d42a540459d

by way, let better using experience, please upgrade outlook 2016 , check whether issue can fixed.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
