Outlook 2016, created duplicate profile and it erased 99% of my - Microsoft Community

it started appointment reminders resetting default of "30 min" "none" (super frustrating missed few meetings before realized happening).  our tech department directed me recreate profile on local outlook client (outlook 2016 pulling our server - outlook 365).  did this, email , contacts both sync'd correctly, calendar did not , of appointments dissappeared.  went onto outlook 365 , late, server had sync'd local , appointments gone there too.  ugggg!!!!

where did locate "some" of them...definitely not all:

in email! did advanced find "appointments , meetings" , checked box next name of profile included folders (email folders/contact folders/ , calendar folders).

i found many of appointments made myself , appointments people invited me in "deleted" folder, , appointments created , invited others in "sent" folder. (please keep in mind, way locate these...if searched in deleted , sent folder via email wouldn't show up.  showed via advanced find.)

why did happen?  why couldn't our tech department refresh account recent archived history of profile??  had go through hand , "accept" or "forward" or recreate each , ever single event.

from information provided, have 2 profiles? when tech department recreated profile, have them backed profile? can use previous profile , check issue.

if cannot solve problem, please let me know more details further analysis:

what version of office 365 service, office 365 business premium/office 365 enterprise e3…?

whether administrator? if so, please perform ediscovery search , check if can find items. if not, due limitation of end users’ permission, please involve administrator further troubleshooting.
