FixMAPI.exe is not working for MAPI session and SEND TO Mail - Microsoft Community

i need mail recipient.mapimail working again.  when attempt run fixmapi.exe, nothing happens. 

my problem not able use command <<send to, mail recipient>>, used file explorer (or windows explorer).  problem occurred after received update for windows 10, version 1709, , after did cleanup work. 

i have determined mapi32.dll not working , have taken number of steps correct problem.  steps include renaming mapi32.dll , running fixmapi executable.

yes, have updated command in folder @ c:\users\"user name"\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\sendto.  however, updated command not recognized in menu selection file explorer.  folder command accessed typing following commands in address line file explorer, thus:

further:

i unable send email attached file via ms word.  word tells me due mapi problem.  when send attempted, following error message ms word help, thus: 

this error can occur if attempt send word document e-mail attachment in word , mapi session closed , word no longer able connect mapi session. ....

to correct mapi related error: restart mapi e-mail program (for example,outlook) or save , close document, , restart word after restarting mapi e-mail application. word establish new mapi session, allowing document sent.

(yes, have followed instruction, , did not correct problem.)

i running windows 10, ms outlook 2007.  find mapi32.dll in several folders, including subfolders of current windows folder, subfolders of windows.old , windows.old(1).   likewise, find fixmapi.exe in several folders.   have checked outlook default mail application.

i appreciate solution.  thanks.
