Outlook Synchronizing, Email Preview and Compose Email Issues. - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have setup imap (gmail) account in outlook whenever new email comes in, unable view message preview or when click on email, full message not load.

the message preview , full message small dots or dashes. tried close , reopen outlook, full message gets loaded.

this tough have restart outlook each time new email comes in.

when compose email in outlook imap email account, format of message jumbled up. body content placed between signature , address footer area.

i have tried synchronize outlook 1 day issue keeps happening. have tried re-profile imap account in outlook.

any ideas on how can resolve issue?

thank replying. 

i have tried repair office issue persists, after few days later issue seems resolved on own.

i think took while account synced , tried enable html email format settings again , re-saved profile.

hi we have shared mailbox shared user , want use tasks of shared mailbox not updating when make changes. there solution this? hi karabotladi, when shared shared mailbox user, did grant permissions him? if share task user, on permissions tab, in name box, click name of person access want change. under permissions, in permission level list, choose permission level. if share shared mailbox user, use admin account log exchange admin center > recipients> shared> select , double click it> mailbox delegation> add user full access list. regards, vanessa Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
