Registry hack to remove autodiscover dialog is incorrectly specified - Microsoft Community

if want rid of autodiscover simplified account creation dialog, doesn't work pop/imap/other non-exchange accounts, might find

this incorrect. says edit key

and add value/data

disableoffice365simplifiedaccountcreation = 1

first clue key doesn't exist. creating doesn't help. because quotes wrong key. should

hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\16.0\outlook\setup

i.e. remove "policies". go there , find key exist , can add value (dword32).

then works.
