How to change the default view in Word 2003? - Microsoft Community

for word 2003 on windows 7.

i use jarte wanted try word 2003 again because has lot more features.  problem every time open document opens in normal view , have change , save in web view open in web view next time.  have hundreds, if not thousands of these files.  there must way of getting open in web view default.

when word 2003 designed, documents printed, , web view relatively new feature intended people build static web pages. philosophy of word's design has been "what see get".

in versions of word, view in effect when document last saved stored in file, , restored on reopening document. may astonished hear word 2013 , 2016 abandoned that, , always reopen existing documents in print layout view. restore old behavior, offer free add-in at https://jay-freedman.info/saveview2013.zip. however, won't open document in web view if last saved in other view -- , no version of word without macro gave you.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
