Why is Outlook for Android using a weird From address? - Microsoft Community

my wife uses outlook.com email , has alias assigned domain own. alias default address. works great while using outlook.com.

she uses outlook android (ofa) on samsung galaxy edge 7. she's signed same account, when goes compose email, shows odd outlook_398f6...@outlook.com address instead of alias.

in drop down of aliases in ofa, normal outlook.com address appears along weird one, alias our domain not displayed.

last odd fact in ofa account settings, account name listed our domain alias account.

what i've done.

  • swapped default aliases couple times on outlook.com
  • reset account in ofa
  • removed , added account on ofa
  • uninstalled , reinstalled ofa

maybe there's issue server?

hi we have shared mailbox shared user , want use tasks of shared mailbox not updating when make changes. there solution this? hi karabotladi, when shared shared mailbox user, did grant permissions him? if share task user, on permissions tab, in name box, click name of person access want change. under permissions, in permission level list, choose permission level. if share shared mailbox user, use admin account log exchange admin center > recipients> shared> select , double click it> mailbox delegation> add user full access list. regards, vanessa Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
