How do I unlock my email account following malicious use? - Microsoft Community

hi,

a company email account has been used maliciously backscatter spam account.  have regained control of account locked out of sending mail outside of our group/domain, following message:

"your message couldn't delivered because weren't recognized valid sender. common reason email address suspected of sending spam , it's no longer allowed send messages outside of organization. contact email admin assistance."

that statement accurate , happened.

however, i/we not have normal admin account controls available "ported" user bt (btconnect.com) , such on limited outlook 365, so can't set filters & rules etc within our online profiles.  have no "admin" aware of.

the account in question pop3 account (using pop: outlook.office365.com , smtp: smpt.office365.com).

how go re-authorising or releasing lock on email account user can send emails again?

thank you
