Help with (conditional?) Macros in Word 2016 - Microsoft Community

i hoping can me create few different types of conditional macros in word 2016 streamline report-writing (i educator). appreciated.

the pressing issues have related formatting long-form assessment reports.  i able to:

  1. create macro not only format (italicize and/or bold) several terms (single words and/or phrases) list but also can complete operation contingent upon surrounding text  (or separate list provides constraints on formatting task).
    • for example: want macro italicize independent instances of word "social" -- but not "social skills" or "social worker" or "ice cream social." possible specify explicit exceptions in macro formula?

  2. create macro will format (italicize and/or bold) and add asterisk or other marker to numbers greater than/less [n].
    • for example: macro changes "99" "99*"

  3. create macro accurately adjust gender pronouns female ("her" "his", "her" "him", , "she" "he")
    • male female easy using find , replace.   female male trickier looking quick way convert template female gender pronouns appropriate male students.
