MacBook Pro - Office 2016 app on external monitor - Fonts look - Microsoft Community

when using office 2016 applications (word, excel & powerpoint) on external monitor, fonts rendering in document looks terrible. bad font smoothing. when showing same thing on macbook pro, ok. have selected powerpoint reference because worst one, word not better either.

other applications (non-office) displayed correctly, it's not monitor configuration or setups. have played lcd font smoothing in preferences, not better. have tried command "defaults -currenthost write -globaldomain applefontsmoothing -int 2" in order "in between" values, not better either. menus displayed nicely, content not...

external monitor has resolution of 1920x1080, it's not highdpi monitor.

is there way make office fonts on external monitor on mac? regular font smoothing on windows environment example?

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
