Numbering wont update without clicking it - Microsoft Community

hello,

i have huge table, spanning across several pages. inside cells have numbered lines using numbering formatting.

i having trouble them auto-updating if add line. when adding line numbering format, have 2 lines following each other same number -  though both have same style. when clicking next number (which supposed updated), update, , correct. however, isn't possible automatically update, without need of clicking it?

i using office 365, microsoft word.

applying list style or numbered paragraph style? default list style restart numbering, if there "intervening" text, while numbered paragraph style applies sequential numbering through-out document.
