Activating Powerpoint 2016 - Microsoft Community

i have downloaded , installed powerpoint 2016 on mac, can't find activate it. still shows old ppt 2011 when open program.

please try following steps see if can activate office 2016 mac:

1.  open finder>applications, find microsoft office 2016 app such microsoft powerpoint. double-clicking on microsoft app open it.

2.  the what's new window opens automatically, click get started > sign in. , enter office 365 email address , password.

3.  if there no what's new window, may need activate within office app. on top menu, click powerpoint ->activate office > sign in.

and seems have office 2011 , office 2016 both installed on mac, if want open office file office 2016 mac default in future, please try right-clicking on file->open with->more apps, in chooses application dialog box, select office 2016 app , make sure always open with checked.
