Word - Mail Merge - Microsoft Community


i have tab-delimited data file 5 data fields.  i have created word document merge fields.  the merged documents either skip records or don't separate records create new document.  there no next record or other rules in document.

doc1 has correct merged fields record1; has data record2 added end of record 1's last merge field.

hard explain - merged document has field1; field2; field3 correct info, field3 has appended data next record.

document 2 has merged information record3; , field3 has data record4 appended it.

record 5 skipped.

if use letters type mail merge main document, without using «next record» field, , execute merge new document selecting edit individual documents destination finish & merge dropdown in finish section of mailings tab of ribbon, multi-section document created data each record in data source being inserted relevant places in replica of mail merge main document.  alternatively, can execute merge directly printer.
