Outlook 2016 Delivey Failure message not working - Microsoft Community

when send out email address incorrect, not longer getting "delivery failure" messages. problem started month ago.  can me?

there several reasons why you’re unable receive delivery failure message when sending email incorrect address in outlook. can happen if server protocol has changed. ensure issue addressed, we’d ask few questions:

  • which edition of office using? information, open outlook > click on file > office account > product information.
  • did make changes prior issue?
  • what domain of email account?
  • what email server configured email account? find out, open outlook > file > account settings > account settings > under type, email protocol or server.

we’ll keep eye out response.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
